AI PDF Doctor lets you open PDF documents and use AI features (ask questions, summarize, translate, extract tables, generate quizzes). All PDF text extraction happens on your device; your documents are never uploaded to our servers.
We collect nothing. We operate no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. The app works fully offline except for the AI features you explicitly request.
When you use an AI feature, the relevant document text and your question are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the answer. This requires you to enter your own free Gemini API key in the app's Settings. Your API key is stored encrypted on your device only and is never shared with us or any third party other than Google for the API call. Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
The app may display ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized advertising in your device's system settings.
The app requests only Internet access (for AI features and ads). It does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or storage permissions.
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect no data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
